The Forty Plus Golf Association returned to Hyde Park Golf Club on Sunday, May 31, for another outstanding day of competition, camaraderie, and great golf. A strong field of players competed for closest-to-the-pin prizes, gross and net skins, and continued building the season pot, which has now grown to an impressive $655.00.

Season Pot Continues to Grow

The FPGA Hole-in-One/Season Pot continues to build momentum.

After adding $34.00 from the Hyde Park event, the season pot has now reached the following:

The season-long fund began on October 6, 2024, at Hyde Park Golf Club with an initial pot of $11.00 and has steadily grown through 37 events across Northeast Florida.

With plenty of tournaments remaining on the schedule, every participant still has a chance to claim the growing prize fund.

Christopher Perez sits atop the standings with a season total of 77 points after two rounds. Perez not only leads the season race but also captured the Closest-to-the-Pin prize on Hole #6 at Hyde Park with a shot that finished just 4 feet, 1 inch from the cup.

Close behind are Tom Murphy and Joe Dionne, tied for second at 76 points, while Ben Smith and Do Luong remain within striking distance at 75 points.

With only a few points separating the top ten, every event and every hole can dramatically impact the standings.

The next event promises another opportunity for players to gain ground, earn points, and move closer to the top of the leaderboard.
