Cancellation Policy
Please note that all Forty Plus Golf (F.P.G.A.) tournaments are booked Weeks in advance, and golf courses require advanced notice of how many golfers we will have at the event to block out the appropriate tee times. The Forty Plus Golf League ( F.P.G.A.) is responsible for the final number as indicated to the golf course in advance. We understand that unforeseen complications can prevent you from attending an event.
Therefore, the following policy will be enacted for all tournament cancellations.
3 Days Notice – Full refund will be given. If you cancel by 6 a.m. on the Thursday Morning before a Scheduled Tourney

Less than 3 Days - (72 Hours Notice) (After 6 a.m. on the Thursday Morning before a Scheduled Tourney) – No refund will be given.
Forty Plus Golf ( F.P.G.A.) Weather Policy
If the course is open, we are playing. Therefore no refunds will be given due to inclement weather unless the course has ceased play. Rain checks may be requested from the course, although are not guaranteed. In the event that the course is not open for play, refunds will be given, and the tournament will not be rescheduled.
Prize Payout Expiration
Prize winnings from Forty Plus Golf (F.P.G.A.) tournaments must be claimed within 30 days of the event date; unclaimed prizes will be donated to the F.P.G.A. General Fund. Cash prizes are to be picked up in person at the tournament by the winner of that prize.

Tournament Day Check-In
Players are required to check in no less than 30 minutes prior to their tee time. Please allow yourself extra time to warm up.
Official Score Cards
Official Score Cards serve as the definitive record for each group during the event, ensuring accurate score entry into the results program. They must be legible, mutually agreed upon by all group members, and signed by the Group Score Keeper. Once finalized and submitted, these score cards become the official and final record of the event's results.
F.P.G.A. Tournament Participation
The F.P.G.A. schedule consists of three seasons annually, each running from January 1st to April 30th, May 1st to August 31st, and September 1st to December 31st, with 8 events scheduled per season, totaling up to 24 events per year, subject to weather or course conditions. Members who miss four or more events in a single season (50%) will be deemed inactive and removed from the rosters, although there are exceptions for certain members.

** Beginning January 1st, 2026 and going forward any FPGA Member age 70+ will have their choice of any Tee Box with the exception of those members with Single Digit HDCPs. Once you choose a TEE Box you will play that specific TEE box each event.
NOTE - If your HDCP falls into Single Digits ( 0 - 9.9 ) you will not have the option of playing the Forward Tees. and will move back one Tee Box
FINAL NOTE
Currently, the Forty Plus Golf Association (F.P.G.A.) offers free membership to all participants; however, the league reserves the right to reinstate a $50.00 annual membership fee at its discretion, with all current members to be notified in advance of any such change.
