The Forty Plus Golf Association (F.P.G.A.) is dedicated to fostering camaraderie and friendly competition among golfers aged 40 and older in the Northeast Florida area. By organizing tournaments and events at premier North Florida golf courses, the F.P.G.A. seeks to promote the sport and enhance the golfing experience for its members. Amateur golfers aged 40 and above are invited to join and participate in the association’s activities, creating a welcoming community for enthusiasts of all skill levels In order to participate in any of the contests you must have an FPGA Application on file. The Forty Plus Golf Association (FPGA) is simply a casual Recreational Golf League.
Sure, we have a few players that can slap a golf ball a mile and birdie 3 or 4 holes during a round and also players that takes 3 or 4 strokes to reach the green on a Par 4 and their favorite club in their Bag is the BALL RETRIEVER but we have fun and thats all that matters.
Remember the Following 3 Priorities of this League:
FAMILY: Block out time for family activities and responsibilities on your calendar before scheduling work or hobbies.
JOB: While your job is second to family, consistently perform your duties and manage your work responsibilities effectively during working hours.
GOLF: Allocate time for golf during your leisure time, ensuring it doesn't interfere with your primary commitments to family and work.
I would have included Health but since we occassionally have a beer or two and are old as hell i figured I would leave that out 🙂
This structure allows you to fulfill your core responsibilities while still enjoying your hobby.
