Cancellation Policy

Please note that all Forty Plus Golf (F.P.G.A.) tournaments are booked Weeks in advance, and golf courses require advanced notice of how many golfers we will have at the event to block out the appropriate tee times. The Forty Plus Golf League ( F.P.G.A.) is responsible for the final number as indicated to the golf course in advance. We understand that unforeseen complications can prevent you from attending an event.

 Therefore, the following policy will be enacted for all tournament cancellations.
3 Days Notice – Full refund will be given. If you cancel by 6 a.m. on the Thursday Morning before a Scheduled Tourney

Less than 3 Days (72 Hours Notice) (After 6 a.m. on the Thursday Morning before a Scheduled Tourney) – No refund will be given.

Forty Plus Golf ( F.P.G.A.) Weather Policy

If the course is open, we are playing. Therefore no refunds will be given due to inclement weather unless the course has ceased play. Rain checks may be requested from the course, although are not guaranteed. In the event that the course is not open for play, refunds will be given, and the tournament will not be rescheduled.

30 Day Prize Payout Expiration - Takes effect Sept. 1st 2025

Tournament Prizes will expire ONE MONTH (30 DAYS)  following the event date at which you won any Contest money. 

If unclaimed Those winnings will go to the Forty Plus Golf ( F.P.G.A.) General Fund.

Cash Winnings must be picked up at an F.P.G.A. Tournament Event by the Winner of those Funds. (And Yes, their are Exceptions for specific members)

Tournament Day Check-In

Players are required to check in no less than 30 minutes prior to their tee time. Please allow yourself extra time to warm up.

Official Score Cards

Official Score Cards are the definitive record for each group on the day of the event, used to input scores into the results program. They must be legible, mutually agreed upon by all group members, and signed by the Group Score Keeper. Once finalized and submitted, these score cards become the official and final results of the event. 

PlayThru Phone Scoring

PlayThru Phone Scoring, utilized by the F.P.G.A., allows tournament participants to view live scoring updates directly on their phones as scores are entered for each group, enhancing transparency and engagement. Each group designates one player to record scores after completing each hole, ensuring real-time accuracy. F.P.G.A. Tournament Participation

The Forty Plus Golf League (F.P.G.A.) Schedule is comprised of THREE Seasons, ( January 1st - April 30th) , (May 1st - August 31st) and (September 1st. - December 31st.)  with EIGHT events per season (Subject to Change due to weather or course conditions).

That is 24 Events per Calandar Year with possibility of some events that cannot be Re-scheduled due to weather or other circumstances.  If a Member misses FOUR or more Events in a Season, ( 50%)  they will be considered Inactive and removed from the Rosters.

(And Yes, their are Exceptions for specific members)

FINAL NOTE

When the Forty Plus Golf Assoc. ( F.P.G.A.) was created 3 years ago we required a $50.00 Annual Membership Fee that was renewed by January 7th of each year.

The Forty Plus Golf Assoc. (F.P.G.A.) is currently a FREE  MEMBERSHIP Golf League but reserves the right to to revert back to the ANNUAL Membership Dues of $50.00 per person at our descretion. 

 All members that are currently registered would be notified in advance if this decision is ever re-instated.
